Lucinda’s work over the past decade has focused on leading innovative strategies to improving the social life of cities, now implemented in more than 10 countries. She is best known as the cofounder of urban tech company Neighbourlytics. Her work has been featured by Google, Smart Company, Qantas and UN-Habitat, Planning Ministers, MPs and major Property Developers to shape some of the world’s most significant urban renewal projects.
She was named as one of Australia’s 100 Most Influential Women by the Australian Financial Review and one of Melbourne's Top 100 Most Influential People by The Age.
Luke is passionate about education in the residential building sector. Whether it’s to homeowners about how to build, renovate, or maintain what is usually their single biggest investment or to builders and apprentices on the latest products available for residential homes, how to use them, and most importantly his experience in what consumers expect from a tradesman.

Jocelyn Martin is the Managing Director of HIA. Joining in 2014, she has held several roles, including Chief Executive – Operations and, more recently, Deputy Managing Director – Policy and Industry.
Jocelyn brings vast business experience specifically in the not-for-profit sector and a strong desire to maintain HIA’s respected industry voice and enhance the connection with members. She values HIA’s forward-thinking advocacy on housing issues, and the importance of conveying members’ challenges. Through her experience in education and social enterprises, Jocelyn also knows first-hand the importance of building a networked community and the role HIA plays in fostering human connection among our industry stakeholders.
Jocelyn has an undergraduate degree majoring in Economics and Econometrics and post graduate degrees in Accounting and in Corporate Governance. She brings over 30 years’ experience in events, training and the community sector. She is also a small business owner.
Simon Croft is a leading industry expert on building codes and oversees HIA’s extensive involvement on ABCB and standards committees. He has a strong public-facing profile in the industry, having led HIA’s communications and engagement with Governments and the residential building industry on the NCC changes and broader building and energy policy matters.
Craig has been working within the civil engineering and property industry for over 30 years and thus has gained a sound knowledge of development infrastructure and housing.
Since 2000 Craig has been with Australand now known as Frasers Property Australia with his current role being Development Director - Infrastructure overseeing delivery of all residential land subdivision projects within Victoria.
Craig has also been a board member of HIA since 2022.
Adam Ferrier is a multi-award-winning advertising creative and founder of the agency Thinkerbell. He is also a leading Australian consumer psychologist, an expert brand strategist, and an authority on Behavioural Economics.
Adam is the author of two books: “The Advertising Effect” (Oxford) and "Stop Listening to the Customer" (Wiley). Adam co-hosts the potentially multi-awarding winning podcast Black T-Shirts and is a regular media commentator on Sunrise and The Project (and served his time on the panel of Gruen for 6 years). He also co-hosts the breakfast radio show #enterprisebreakfast on Disrupt Radio.
Adam will take delegates on an insightful journey to embrace evidence-based creativity - whether to buy, perform or change - through cognitive behavioural psychology, hardcore creativity, and a deep understanding of behavioural economics.
James Treble is a Sydney based award-winning Interior Designer, running his own successful design practice. He has over 30 years’ experience within varied roles in the Interior Design, Real Estate and Building industry.
James is also a TV presenter on Open Homes Australia and the host of the brand-new show, Renovate Or Rebuild, for Ch9.
James is renowned for his sensible approach to Interior Design, creating homes that are bespoke and practical as well as beautiful, and for his dedication to sharing his knowledge with the public as well as by mentoring a mindful new generation of Interior Designers.
Tim Reardon joined HIA in 2004 as the Executive Director Government Relations working on the Housing Affordability summit in the lead up to the federal election. Tim then took on the role of Executive Director Tasmania until 2007. During this time a builders licensing regime was introduced including reforms to home owners warranty and HIA warded off an increase in energy efficiency standards in new homes.
After leaving HIA, Tim then represented the automotive manufacturers during the industry review of 2008 gaining $4.8 billion in industry assistance. He represented the electricity generators through the introduction and repeal of the carbon price in 2012 and also worked as a consultant for a number of other industry groups and companies on federal policy matters.
Tim re-joined HIA as Chief Economist in 2017, heading up the HIA Economics team.
Melissa is the Senior Executive Director Compliance and Workplace Relations at HIA and has national responsibility for developing and co-ordinating HIA advocacy, strategic planning and member services across a range of policy areas including business compliance, dispute resolution, skills, taxation, industrial relations and employment, licensing and WH&S. Melissa also manages the HIA Contracts and Compliance team who are responsible for delivering practical, functional and risk management focused advice and assistance to members, and oversees the risk allocation and legislative compliance of HIA’s standard form contracts.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales. Melissa was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia in 2008.
Shane is the Executive Director, Building Policy at HIA, a carpenter by trade and has been in the construction industry for 25 years with experience in residential, small commercial building, heritage restoration and qualifications in construction and project management and economics.
Shane joined HIA in March 2023 after 14 years with the Australian Building Codes Board, six years as Director of Impact Analysis overseeing the preparation of economic analysis to accompany Board’s advice on major ABCB initiatives including fire safety, plumbing, accessibility and energy efficiency.
In their debut year going National, Will & Woody topped the ratings in Sydney and Adelaide Drive and are continuing their upward trajectory going from strength to strength in a very competitive market.
Will and Woody achieved the amazing result of #1 overall Drive show nationally for the second survey of 2023 with over one million listeners. Adding momentum to the boy’s success is their growing fan base who can’t get enough of the prolific pair’s comedy sketches, humour, and bromance.
2022 saw Will & Woody join the Nine Network’s hit show Australian Ninja Warrior as co-hosts and also appeared as fan favourites on Celebrity Apprentice Australia, also on the Nine Network. In 2023 Woody was one of the top 6 contestants on Network Ten’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and has been a panellist on The Project.
The guys have many talents: Will’s a professional DJ and an accomplished writer who contributes to many publications including The Age and 9 Honey, while Woody was a RAW Comedy State finalist; a qualified personal trainer and marriage celebrant.
